Dr Milan Djeric is an exceptionally experienced, Australian-trained General Surgeon who brings a high level of surgical precision to skin cancer management and minor operative care. Graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Tasmania in 1986, he completed his rigors, accredited general surgical training across major tertiary centres, including the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Hobart Hospital, and Launceston General Hospital.

Following the completion of his specialist training, Dr Djeric established a distinguished general surgical practice in Hobart in 1997. Alongside his broad general surgical caseload, he contributed extensively to the prestigious Melanoma Unit of Tasmania. This specialised role allowed him to cultivate advanced, master-level expertise in the early detection, complex diagnosis, and definitive surgical treatment of melanoma and advanced non-melanoma skin cancers.

Now consulting at Western Skin Institute, Dr Djeric is highly regarded for his meticulous surgical technique, fine suturing skills, and patient-centred philosophy. Whether performing a complex skin cancer excision or a routine minor procedure, his focus remains entirely on delivering safe, evidence-based, and cosmetically optimal outcomes.
