Dr James Al-Israel is a highly dedicated clinician who brings an extensive background in both acute hospital care and specialised skin cancer medicine to Western Skin Institute. After graduating from the College of Medicine at Duhok University in 2011, he built foundational clinical experience internationally before relocating to Australia, where he spent years managing diverse patient presentations at Ballarat Base Hospital across major subspecialties, including general surgery, emergency medicine, cardiology, and oncology.

Driven by a commitment to precise, preventative care, Dr Al-Israel focused his career on the early detection and management of skin malignancies. He holds a postgraduate Diploma of Skin Cancer Medicine from Bond University, alongside advanced certifications in dermoscopy, skin cancer surgery, and clinical procedures from the Skin Cancer College Australasia (SCCA), HealthCert, and the Australasian College of Dermatologists.
