Dr. Thien Tran is an Australian general practitioner and graduate of The University of Melbourne, with special interest in the early detection, diagnosis and management of skin cancer. She performs comprehensive full-body skin checks using dermoscopy and evidence-based protocols to detect melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers at the earliest possible stage.
Dr Thien is experienced in minor surgical procedures, including biopsies and excisions of suspicious lesions and provides tailored surveillance programs for patient at increased risk. In addition to her work in skin cancer medicine, she also offers aesthetic consultations and non-surgical cosmetic treatments to support her patients’ overall skin health and confidence.
Dr Thiens’ approach is thorough, methodical, and patient-focused, with a strong emphasis on prevention, early intervention and long-term care.
Dr Thien is bilingual and can converse in English and Vietnamese with fluency.
